British national Benjamin Alderson received his degree in business economics, with upper second-class honours, from the University of Durham in 1998. Launching his career in corporate finance as an investment analyst with Thesis Asset Management in London, Benjamin Alderson managed portfolios for high-net-worth clients and provided performance updates.
Over the course of a decade, Mr. Alderson focused his career on business development with technology and import firms such as Electronic Data Systems (now HP Enterprise Services), Lyndhurst Shoe Company, and Fast Trak Consulting. He re-entered the investment banking sector as a senior financial consultant with the deVere Group’s Dubai offices in 2009. Later, he served a three-year interim as senior vice president with Globaleye Private Wealth Management, where he was responsible for a team of 30 wealth managers and 20 business development managers. In 2012, he rejoined the deVere Group as a senior area manager for its US offices, and remains there today.
Benjamin Alderson holds an international certificate in wealth management from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, and is certified as a Series 65 Investment Advisor. He is also the recipient of the Chartered Insurance Institute Award in Financial Planning.
